Refund Policy

Academica Group Inc (Academica) offers credit and/or refunds for Academica Careers purchases under certain circumstances. In all cases, Academica reserves the right to refuse or issue refunds at its sole discretion.
Ad Credit Packages: If you purchased ad credit(s), you may request a refund within five (5) business days of your purchase, provided that none of the credits in the package have been used. If any of the credits have been redeemed, the remaining credits in that package are considered non-refundable. Please note that you are able to request the transfer credits to another user at any time by email — transfer approval is subject to review and may take 2-3 business days to be approved by Academica Careers admin.
Job Postings: If you created and paid for a job posting that has been scheduled for a future date and has not yet been published or shared in the Academica Top Ten newsletters, you can request a refund or an exchange for credit by emailing the Academica Careers team. Once a job posting has been publicly published for more than one (1) business day and/or has been shared through the Academica Top Ten newsletters, no refund will be provided.
Appointment and Hiring Notices: If you created and paid for a hiring notice posting, you can request a takedown and refund within one (1) business day of publication. To request a refund, email the Academica Careers team directly. Once a notice has been publicly published for more than one (1) business day and/or shared through the Academica Top Ten newsletters, no refund will be provided.
If your account or a posting created by you is removed due to violation of the terms and conditions of Academica Careers, no refunds will be provided.
If Academica Careers suffers a technical outage of greater than two (2) business days and/or other issues that inhibit the ability of a user to receive the full benefits of Academica Careers by no fault of the user, Academica may at its sole discretion offer compensation that may include posting extensions, credits, or partial or complete refunds. The user must notify Academica Careers in writing at the time of the disruption with a description of the issue.
In all other situations, Academica reserves the right to review the situation and determine whether to provide any compensation at its sole discretion.
To request a refund or a review of your situation, please reach out to our team at careers@academica.ca. Our team may take 2-3 business days to review and respond – in cases where timeliness is a factor in decisions, the timestamp of when your email reached our inbox will be used to determine timeliness. Academica Careers does not take responsibility for user errors or use of email systems that may delay your message in reaching us.
